Happy nurses week to all the nurses out there. Nursing is my passion. I've been thinking about it since I was a child. When I took my Florence Nightingale Oath during our Pinning Ceremony, I almost went to tears. Tending the sick people's need is not as easy as everyone thinks. Everytime I am on the floor, its always a nerve-racking experience. But you know what? I always felt that the Lord has always been there for me and guiding me what to do every minute I'm on duty. I praise him every single day and will be forever thankful for having a great job that I love so much. An excerpt from an unknown author.
Nurse's Prayer
Dear Lord, please give me strength,
To face the day ahead.
Dear Lord, please give me courage,
As I approach each hurting bed.
Dear Lord, please give me wisdom
With every word I speak.
Dear Lord, please give me patience,
As I comfort the sick and weak.
Dear Lord, Please give me assurance,
As the day slips into night.
That I have done the best I can,
That I have done what's right.
